Open Response

So in Spanish class we have been reading "El Principito" or otherwise known as "The Little Prince. Now I know that maybe it might be considered lazy to talk about a book that I am reading for another class but the Little Prince has become a favorite book of mine. Now I had already read the book before reading it in class, but rereading it I have come to appreciate the book even more.

My favorite chapter in the Little Prince is when he meets his friend the fox. I find it so deep at the end of the chapter when the fox tells the Prince that, "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye." I think that this quote says how important love and friendship really is, and how people need to remember to take care of the people who are important to you and not take friendships for granted.

  1. Oh Katelyn! The Little Prince -- the epitome of the beauty and depth in simplicity! I love when he draws the box and TLP can picture whatever he wants in it!
